Featuring the Cheryl Thomas Collection over 1000 dolls including Sindy, Barbie dolls. Cheryl whose interest was first piqued as a young child when she was given a Sindy as a Christmas present. She and Sindy were nearly the same age and they "grew up" together and the number of Sindy’s, accessories and other dolls grew steadily over the years.

When she started work aged 18 a work colleague gave Cheryl her childhood toys – a small collection of fashion dolls and alongside her childhood dolls, they became the core of her collection.

While she loved all dolls, and had a large collection of antique bisque, composition and vintage plastic examples, teenage fashion dolls were her main focus.

Collecting properly took off when Cheryl started work as it meant she could afford to buy her own dolls and she started to search for them by answering small ads and browsing at toy fairs.

The dolls that were on display throughout the house and they were changed regularly with the favourites such as Mitzi, Gayle and the 1960/70s Sindy’s and Barbies that were permanently on display.
